WHO WE ARE
WHAT WE DO
Since its founding in 1995, Adventures Without Limits (AWL) has worked with thousands of children and adults of all abilities to experience the thrill of adventure.
AWL is a registered 501c3 non-profit that was founded by Brad Bafaro to address the region's shortage of options for adaptive recreation. We specialize in working with individuals with disabilities to find adaptive solutions for a range of activities. Our program mission has since expanded to address many common barriers to outdoor recreation, such as access to transportation, outdoor apparel, skills training, and financially accessible price points. We're committed to creating a safe community for folks to learn new skills, build confidence, make social connections, overcome obstacles, and enjoy the beautiful natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest.
Based in Forest Grove, Oregon, our team of certified adventure guides and trained volunteers lead programs ranging from cross country skiing and snowshoeing to white water rafting, canoeing and kayaking to hiking and camping.
AWL’s flexible and creative staff are trained to assist people of all ability levels and backgrounds experience the benefits of nature and outdoor recreation.
