WHO WE SERVE:

Adventures Without Limits specializes in creating accessible and inclusive outdoor adventures so that all people can enjoy the mental, physical and social benefits of spending time outdoors. Our programs are customized to meet the needs of our guests. We have designed and led programs for children hospitals, cooperate groups, private families, school groups, veterans and everything in between! Our team is trained and our gear is equipped to offer adaptive outdoor recreation options.

BOOKING STEPS:

  1. Pick an Activity — Review our activities below and choose which one(s) you’re interested in. From day trips to multi-day outings, our adventures are open to all!

  2. Submit an Adventure Booking Request — fill out our BOOKING REQUEST FORM. Our team will respond with program details and pricing.

  3. Complete Reservation by paying deposit — our team will send out a link with trip details and a link to reserve dates.

  4. Prepare for Adventure! — Prepare for your trip by reviewing our FAQ’s page which outline packing lists, waivers and other important information.

snowshoe

Seasons: Winter

Classic Snowshoe Tour
Strap on some snowshoes and explore a winter wonderland! Mt. Hood looks like a completely different mountain under a blanket of snow. Let AWL guides show you the way through the winter trail systems while observing all of the amazing seasonal changes. Snowshoeing is a multi-sensory experience, with the crunch of snow under your feet, to the unique muffled silence when you stop to listen.
All necessary snowshoe equipment is provided.

Moonlight Snowshoe Tour
Who loves winter to the MOON and back?! We do! And you’ve never seen the winter forest like this - under the moonlight. Enjoy the winter forest at dusk as the sun descends behind the trees and the moon watches over you as you explore in a dazzling and illuminated darkness. Moonlight Tours need to be scheduled *just right* to catch the maximum moonlight overhead.
All necessary showshoe equipment is provided.

 

KAYAK

Kayak Lesson
Want to paddle, but don’t know where to start? Learn the basics with AWL! Lessons cover all of the essential introductory skills to kayaking, from the gear you wear to the strokes to steer.

Wildlife Tour
Paddle through blue waters and luscious greenery while Osprey soar overhead. Be dazzled by Oregon’s wild critters on a guided adventure. Great for families!

Sunset Tour
Float into the sunset! These evening tours are the perfect outing for beautiful Oregon summer nights. Collect your Quaran-crew for an adventure that is sure to delight.

Single Day Trip
You don’t have to travel far from home to experience the rush of excitement and enchanting beauty of the rivers in the Pacific Northwest! Paddle past draping ferns, canyon walls and lush forests.

Overnight Trip
Immerse yourself into the surrounding landscape as we spend multiple days traveling by raft down a scenic stretch of river. Along the way, camp beside the river and listen to the soothing sounds of nature as your drift off to sleep beneath the stars.

Multi-Sport Option
Too many options to choose from? Not a problem! Combine this activity with one or more other activities for several days of adventure!

Rock Climb

Seasons: Year-round (indoor), fall, spring, summer (outdoor)

Locations: Portland Metro Area, Mt. Hood National Forest, Central Oregon, Columbia River Gorge

Indoor Rock Climbing
Conveniently located in the heart of Portland, our indoor rock climbing programs are a wonderful opportunity for beginners to learn the ropes or for more experienced climbers to challenge themselves. Either way, indoor climbing is all about connecting with others while enjoying a fun activity!

Outdoor Rock Climbing
Rock climbing outdoors allows us to access new territory and to explore our abilities in a safe and controlled environment. Our expert guides will outfit you will all of the necessary gear and equipment to scale one of our many local ‘crags’ or climbing areas. It’s not about reaching the top, it’s about the experience along the way!

 

Hike

Seasons: fall, spring, summer

Locations: Portland Metro Area, Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon Coast, Columbia River Gorge

Day Hiking
Enjoy a relaxed walk beneath old growth trees or challenge yourself to reach expansive views of Mt. Hood. Perhaps you would prefer a hike along the coastline in search of migrating whales. Whatever landscape and difficulty appeals to you, Oregon has got an option!

Backpacking
Embrace the simplicity of nature as we head out for an overnight backpacking adventure. Our expert guides will lead you into the wilderness to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life. Backpacking can include everything from a short few mile walk into a campsite for a night, to a more challenging multi-day trek into the backcountry.

 

CROSS COUNTRY (XC) SKI

Seasons: Winter

XC Ski Lesson
Cross country (XC) skiing is a favorite winter pastime! For those who might enjoy distance over speed, this sport is sure to please. Hire one of our trained guides to teach you all the necessary basics to get you gliding along in the snow.
All necessary XC Ski equipment is provided.

XC Ski Tour
Glide through a beautiful network of nordic ski trails on Mt. Hood. No need to worry about planning a route or buying permits, just show up and let AWL guides show you the way! Discover the beauty of Mt. Hood National Forest under snow.
